UNDER THE SKIN
Under the Skin is the title of my current research project, staging three generations of artists from my own family, examining cultural heritage, the myth of talent, and the status of the abstract idea, through the work of three female painters.
I exhibit frequently, using the encounters with the public as opportunities to step back from my work, witness how well it communicates, and engage in conversation with my audence.
I always take a curatorial role in the display of my work, seeing the qualities of the exhibition space and arrangement of the works as a powerful extention of the work.
